Welcome To The DSL Golf Society
The DSL Golf Society is a friendly collection of like minded people, enjoying the ultimate love/hate relationship in sport and life, the game of Golf!
We have been visiting various golf courses around Kent and East Sussex for the past 18 years. We have a great atmosphere and camaraderie, and golfers of all abilities, including an ex professional.
It is all about having fun, and rasing a little money for charity. Last year we raised over one thousand pounds for our Captains Charity.
Our 2017 Captains Charity Is;
Our 2016 Captain, Jake Denney, has nominated the Hospice In The Weald as his Charity for 2016. Contributions will come from fines, for example, £1 per bunker shot per round with a maximum fine of £5, a £5 fine will also be issued to any society member not wearing their society shirt on the day.
We wish Jake the best of luck throughout the year with his fundraising, and we are sure, like previous years, the society will dig deep in order to give a great charity a large cheque in 2016.
Last Years 2015 captain Colin Barber Raised just over £1,000 for The Stroke Association with a large portion of the £1,000 being raised at the end of year Xmas Hack with raffle and auction prizes. Once again the generosity of the the society was overwhelming, Colin would like to thank everybody for their contributions over the year and passes on his best wishes to Richard for 2016.
